Memoirs in Progress

The Simon and Mummy Show is a hybrid memoir that offers an opportunity to reflect on the power that thoughts, words, intentions, and actions have on the well-being of children. Rooted in my relationship with my son—especially mistakes I made with him—it explores neurobiology, executive functioning, attachment, and epigenetics as they relate to our lived experiences of neglect, abuse, and intergenerational trauma.

Jijivisha Unfolding or The Fantastic Story of One Woman’s Spiritual Awakening via Sex, Chocolate, and Heavy Breathing‍ ‍is a memoir of living through the pain and chaos of depression, anxiety, ADHD, mania, menopause, psychosis, bankruptcy, and regret and how self-compassion, self-care, acceptance, and forgiveness helped me heal and discover who I am.
